is a very old place, or at least, is exploited for many centuries Romans were the first to exploit the virtues of the Salt River, as you would expect from its name, is what gives rise to this particular landscape or, more exactly, that man has created.

The attentive visitor will receive two things: the importance of the salt had at the time (just look at the massive size they are) and complete decadence that is, from my point of view, part of its romantic charm : everything has a sense of semi-abandoned ruins, together with the loneliness that often breathe (as it crosses one with a pair of curious here and there) give a very special air.
An environment to which they contribute and not some old warehouses, also impress with their size, or the curious circular building in the middle of the salt, they and almost collapsed but still giving a fairly accurate impression of the importance that should be the place and the number of people who should work there.
There's something about all these ruins it also conveys an indefinable sense of abandonment precipitate, do not know why, but the old wooden machinery corroded by salt gave me the feeling of having been abandoned suddenly as by surprise as if they expected to get themselves moving again any time now ... for decades.
Of course, all framed in a white landscape that calls attention to us, probably because they are used to find similar sites in the interior and even less in the middle of barren fields Castilians, but the truth is that is not as uncommon as you might think .
A landscape, by the way, with great photographic opportunities unfortunately I could not squeeze in enough time (always with the damn hurry) but it was very stimulating, while opening the show focus and the strangeness of the little sea salt its environment, closing it to focus on the salt itself and capricious forms it might take .
All this, of course, very carefully to overcome the madness that both white and both cause the meter brightness of the camera. MORE
